This may be posted in wrong place. I was debating books or .net and .net forum came up on the coin flip.
I am looking for a boost in my .net knowledge. Best explanation I can give is comparing to library functions. Years ago the Waite Group published language Bibles, Turbo C Bible, etc. So when I had to do something to a date, chapter index would give me a list of functions and what they would do, what input was expected, and the type of output. They must not have sold well since the Waite Group was swallowed by a bigger fish and they no longer come out with new versions. I started using PowerShell to develop the .net knowledge, but figure I would make quicker progress with a quality reference manual to work with as well.
