For some reason when you do [ 0 ] no spaces, it outputs 'Y] instead.

This kinda makes it hard to provide examples that use arrays or splits.

Is it possible to use syntax highlighting in the forums as well?

It is possible to use syntax highlighting in the forums - and the forums software does interpret square brackets (it's a BBCode thing). If you look in the "testing testing" forum, there's an example of code highlighting. It doesn't hit all the right PowerShell keywords (in this version it's pretty much VB or C# only), but it works. Just put a (pre class="csharpcode") HTML tag (use < and > instead of ( and )) and end with (/pre) to format the code. There's another, easier way - but it escapes me and I'm in Spain, still :). I think it's written on a piece of paper on my desk at home - will check later this week when I get back. Ping me if I forget!
