I just wish we could buy the electronic version of the new book, and choose to have the paper version deivered on release instead of having the electronic version in final form

I know, I want to have my cake and eat it too)

Of course, I have enough real scripts to migrate from vbscript to powershell for our Exchange migration that I haven't done much with the CTP yet, so the book will probally be on second printing by the time I need it ;)

But then, we do have Jeffery Hicks coming to teach for a week in January, so I may need that book afterall!

OK, you talked me into it ;)

Can't WAIT to see the book, in ANY version! Great work on the first book!

Actually, you'll be able to do that shortly. We're going to start accepting backorders for the 2nd edition today in e+print bundles, and you'll get the e immediately.

And if Jeff's coming to teach, then hold off - if your company is buying courseware then the PowerShell TFM book is included in the courseware kit.

Don;

Most of my department got the first book when you taught the course. I had to buy one when I joined the department. Since the course we are taking is Intermediate and Advanced PowerShell, will that be TFM 1, 2nd Edition, or the new PS2 book?

I suppose we should have taken this into email.

The courseware doesn't focus on v2.0 at all - it'll either include the 1st or 2nd edition, depending on when it's purchased, both of which cover v1.0.

Yes, I was hoping the class would include Version 1, 2nd edition, but it didn't - so now I have 2 copies of Version 1, 1st edition.
