I read some posts here, but didn't see anything that would point to what I need. Tried running basic MSCluster_ResourceGroup query, but it produced no results:
Get-WMIObject MSCluster_ResourceGroup -namespace root\MSCluster -filter "name='SQL Server (my_instance)'" | ft __SERVER
Basically what I want to do is:
1. Ennumerate all the Applications on the clusters (2 node clusters)
2. If a node in a particular cluster is running more than 50% of all Applications, report node name
3. Write a Warning message into Application log with the node name that's running more than it's fair share of Apps
I am not on Windows 2008 R2 so Get-ClusterGroup doesn't work either. Any suggestions are much appriciated.

What OS are your cluster nodes running? I have a few 2003 and 2008 (non R2) clusters where I work and can check on them sometime in the next 48 hours (time permitting).
Let me know what we're working with and i'll get back to ya.
Thanks,
