I have been looking for ways to automate Facebook from an IT point-of-view (rather than a "Facebook Application"), and haven't found anything that works well. So, I created http://facebookpsmodule.codeplex.com, and I am looking for Alpha-stage collaborators. If you have a need in this space, let me know, and I'll see whether I can solve it using the module, or whether I can improve the module to do so.

Existing projects include

PowerShell PowerBook (http://archive.msdn.microsoft.com/PowerShellPowerBook): This sometimes works and sometimes not. It uses the old "Facebook REST API" which is deprecated.

PowerGui Facebook Organizer (http://www.powergui.org/entry.jspa?externalID=2034&categoryID=56): I wasn't able to get this to work. It's even older than PowerShell PowerBook (two years since the last update) so I expect it fell behind the curve with Facebook API changes.
