    Hi,

I have written a short script that changes the auditing policies on specific files.  I am running the script as an administrator but I still receive the following permission error:

"Set-Acl : The process does not possess the 'SeSecurityPrivilege' privilege which is required for this    operation."

The auditing policies are being applied to '.exe's and '.dll's type files located within C:\Windows directory - not sure if this has anything to do with the error?

Suggestions and help will be much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Rebecca

    Hi Rebecca,

Can I recommend that you post this question on the general PowerShell forum? This forum is for announcements and assistance with the site, not for general PowerShell questions.

    Thanks,
