I'm trying to work around an issue that we are having in AD. For some reason sometimes the check box on the environment tab "Start the following program at logon:" is checked automagically. The field that is associated with the box "tsinitialprogram" is empty or null. Anyone have a suggestion on how i can create a script to check this box for checked/unchecked status?

Fishwalker, I've also experienced this issue. It hasn't been often enough for me to really look into solving it with a script, but we did work out that it seemed to be related to the version of Windows Server (or precifically the version of dsa.msc) that had been used to create the account. If I work out a solution I'll post it here in case you have subscribed to this thread.

None of the terminal services info can be pulled from the new AD cmdlets... I don't know why this is, but i've asked and that was the general consensus.
You can use the Quest AD cmdlets, but that will only give you the string in the program file name box, not the true/false value of the checkbox....
I don't see any property for the check box returned in either the ad cmdlets or the Quest cmdlets.... :/
