I'm looking for a replacement for the old LimitLogin utility provided by Microsoft several years ago.  That utility allowed me to restrict AD user accounts to only one login at a time.  I haven't used it for awhile now because it was a bit tempermental and didn't work reliably, but still have a need for that kind of scenario.

Does anyone have any idea how to approach doing this with PowerShell?

Look all the way at the bottom:

If you can't buy a solution, you need to think about ways that you can limit the user logins via some common way.

Thanks for the link... That article sums up pretty much what we realized a couple of years ago, in that in a large network environmnent a tool like that is more trouble than it is worth. The aspect of a "single point of failure" caused us problems a few times, and now that our network is even bigger it is not a practical solution.

Until Microsoft decides to incorporate that right into the Server OS, it is too fragile to use on anything but a small network.
