Has anyone done any work with blade servers?
I am trying to create a script that will discover our blade servers and inventory them.
We have a mixture of IBM and Dell blade chassis and I have no idea where to start.
Thanks

Hi Karl, I think you'll first need to RTFM on the products to determine if they have a WMI, WS-MAN, SSH, etc. interface and/or API. |

Having read some of the fine manuals in this area, I'll go ahead and tell you that the answer is going to be vendor-dependent. I'm not much into the hardware lately, wish I could be more specific. |
