Anyone in the community is welcome to start a blog here, but you do need to be enabled to do so. Simply send an e-mail to hal@halr9000.com; briely explain what you plan to blog about, and you'll be enabled as a blogger on the site. Once that's done, click on the main "Blogs" page and look at the bottom of the right-hand column for a link that will start your blog and allow you to add entries. Be sure to provide a short "excerpt" for your entry, too, and be aware that excerpts may not contain any formatting.
